Profhilo®

Profhilo® fundamentally differs from traditional fillers through its unique mode of action. Where fillers fill or contour specific areas, Profhilo® works as a ‘bio-remodeller’ that renews the skin from within. It contains the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market (64mg/2ml) without chemical cross-linking, allowing it to spread evenly under the skin. This stimulates the production of four types of collagen and elastin, rather than simply adding volume. The result is an overall improvement in skin quality, hydration and elasticity across the entire treated area, while maintaining a natural appearance without the ‘plumped up’ effect sometimes associated with fillers.

After your first Profhilo® treatment, you will notice subtle improvements in skin hydration and quality. However, the full effect develops gradually, as the product stimulates natural collagen production. The most noticeable results are visible after the second treatment, approximately 4 weeks after the first session, when the skin looks noticeably firmer, more radiant and more hydrated. The effect of a full Profhilo® treatment (2 treatments) lasts an average of 6-9 months, depending on age, skin condition and lifestyle factors. For optimal long-term results, it is recommended to undergo a maintenance treatment 2-3 times a year.

One of the great benefits of Profhilo® is the minimal downtime. Immediately after the treatment you may see small bumps at the injection sites, which disappear within 24-48 hours. Some clients experience slight redness, swelling or bruising at the injection points, but this is usually mild and temporary. You can resume your normal activities and wear make-up almost immediately after the treatment (after 12 hours). It is recommended that you avoid intense sports, saunas, swimming pools and direct sunlight for the first 24 hours after the treatment. Unlike some other aesthetic treatments, Profhilo® has no ‘social downtime’ – you don’t have to take days off work or avoid social events.

Profhilo® is versatile and can be applied to areas that often show signs of aging: face, neck, décolleté and even the hands. It is particularly effective for areas with thin skin that are prone to sagging structure, such as the cheeks, jawline and neck. The treatment is ideal for those who suffer from dry, dull, sagging skin that has lost elasticity. Profhilo® is excellent for the 'prejuvenation' phase (30-40 years) to tackle early signs of skin aging, but also works well for mature skin (45+ years) to improve skin quality. It can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with other treatments such as botox or fillers in a comprehensive rejuvenation plan. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and works all year round, even in sunny periods.
