About BLOY Institute

BLOY Institute, formerly known as KNAP Skincare, was founded by Lindsay van der Looij. Since May 2020, the skin-improving, anti-aging and body treatments of KNAP Skincare have continued under the name of BLOY Institute. For our injectable and b treatments, we have partnered with the distinguished Clinic 28, led by one of the most renowned cosmetic doctors of The Netherlands, Drs. Fred T.M. Tjan.

BLOY is the boutique clinic in Amsterdam-South for effective skin-rejuvenating and skin-improving treatments and is located on the Willemsparkweg. Each of our new customers receives an elaborate skin check and a fully personalized treatment plan. Since every skin is different, every skin deserves a specifically customized approach when it comes to types of treatments, skincare products for at home, and the right supplements.

At BLOY Institute, we perform powerful treatments that reach the deeper layers of the skin to achieve the best results in slowing down the aging process. Besides this, we also work with medical products such as lasers and injectables for maximum results. Our treatments and products all aim to put your skin to work: they improve cell renewal and the production of collagen so that your skin can effectively regenerate itself.

As the owner, Lindsay van der Looij has more than 15 years of experience as a skin specialist herself. Working as a skin specialist, she treated numerous Dutch celebrities who have now grown to be regular customers of the clinic. Prior to founding BLOY, Lindsay was the co-owner of KNAP Institute in Amsterdam for 9 years. She also has a professional history of working as an account manager for various skincare brands.

For as long as she can remember, she has been incredibly interested in skin rejuvenation and everything that goes with it. She keeps up to date on the latest innovations in the field of skin improvement by attending many courses and international exhibitions every year. Both in her current role as the owner of BLOY Institute, as well as during her time as the founding partner of KNAP Institute, she has continued to learn more about grooming and beauty every day.

Next to expanding her own knowledge and skills, naturally, she ensures that her team is well-trained as well. Under her leadership, BLOY’s team members are inspired to develop their skillset further and to grow professionally every day. As such, customers can relax in the knowledge that the team members of BLOY are always up to date with the most recent innovations in the field of skin-rejuvenating and skin-improving treatments.
