Pigmentation Treatment at BLOY

Hyperpigmentation, or the increase in pigment, is primarily related to melanin. It results in a color change of the skin ranging from light brown to black or even blue to blue-gray. The increase in melanin pigment can be caused by various factors. Exposure to sunlight/UV radiation seems to play a triggering role in the onset/increase of pigmentation. Other triggers include medication, fluctuating hormone levels, and skin damage.
