What does Fotona Dynamis 4D® entail?
We treat varicose veins, spider veins and visible vessels in the face and legs with the Nd:YAG laser. Laser treatments for the removal of varicose veins and spider veins are a lot less drastic than operations, but certainly give just as good results! In addition, there is a lower risk of complications.
How does laser varicose vein treatment work?
During the treatment we focus the laser on the veins/vessels, causing the vein wall to shrink and close. The healthy veins surrounding the closed vein can thus restore normal blood flow to the treated area.

With this multifunctional system we can improve the skin in many areas! This includes skin tightening, treating scars, lifting the skin above the eyes and hair removal. But also rosacea, pigment problems and vessels in the face and legs.
We have also treated some of these skin problems in the past, but with this system we can achieve even better results! The special thing about this system is that we can work with two complementary wavelengths, namely the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser and the 2940nm Er:YAG. You may think that a laser is a laser, but nothing could be further from the truth! The ability to work on different wavelengths with this system also allows us to work on different skin layers. Some skin problems are located on multiple skin layers, which we can now tackle at the same time! The combination of these two wavelengths ensures a fast, visibly beautiful and long-lasting result.

Why is the Fotona Dynamis unique?
The Fotona Dynamis is very special because it operates with two lasers in one system, namely the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser and the 2940 nm Er:YAG laser. With these two lasers, we can work simultaneously at different wavelengths and target different layers of the skin. Additionally, the Fotona laser system has many different handpieces, allowing us to treat various common skin problems as well as those that are less well-known. Careful consideration has been given to the system and each handpiece. The system is highly innovative and extensively tested, making each treatment completely safe. We can address all aspects of skin aging with it, not just skin laxity and wrinkles, but also drooping eyelids and volume loss in the lips. In short, we are very pleased to be one of the few clinics in the Netherlands that can work with this fantastic system.
How many treatments are needed?
In general, 3 treatments are needed to achieve the desired result, but this depends on how many veins/vessels need to be treated and how large the area to be treated is.
After the treatment
The recovery time for this treatment is short and healing is much faster than with surgery. After the treatment, your skin will still feel warm for a while. We advise you to wait at least 48 hours after the treatment before exercising or going to the sauna. We also advise against taking a hot shower immediately after the treatment. If you expose the treated skin to the sun, the use of an SPF is very important.
