What does TCA peeling entail?
During the treatment, the skin is cleansed, and multiple layers of the peel are applied until a desired reaction occurs. The peel may cause some burning sensation, but this diminishes quickly with the use of cooling devices. Once the skin has reacted as desired, the post-peel mask is applied to neutralize the acid. This mask immediately soothes the skin. After 1-2 days, the skin may feel tight and begin to peel. The peeling process lasts for about 7-10 days.
