At BLOY Institute, we offer a complimentary combined skin scan using 2 different devices to provide a complete analysis. Over the past 6 years, we have been using the MAC skin scan, but our two new devices give us an even better view of the skin. We can now actually look into the skin and precisely map the thickness of your collagen. The scans provide a very comprehensive and objective view of your skin, including the deeper layers that we cannot see with the naked eye. From there, we can develop the right treatment plan and closely monitor progress. The Observ 520 skin scan analyzes the deeper layers of the skin and visualizes the expected skin problems. During the scan, photos of your skin are taken in six different skin analysis modes that help us in creating the correct treatment plan for your skin. Additionally, the scan also helps us to provide accurate advice regarding lifestyle. The patented technology used in the scan provides us with important insights into your skin problems that are often not visible to the naked eye. Skin conditions often begin in the deeper layers of the skin, making them only truly visible later on.
When we address certain problems in time, we may be able to prevent potential issues on the skin surface by treating preventively. Some important characteristics that we can measure with the Observ 520 skin scan include skin sensitivity, couperose, elasticity, moisture level, skin texture, enlarged pores, sun damage, pigmentation, sebum production, and a prognosis on how skin aging may develop. The analysis and photos are then stored in our database after the client’s approval, allowing us to visualize the results after a treatment course by comparing the images.
